Gabriela Gargano is a self-taught interior designer and founded GRISORO Studio following a career in finance. Often described as equally left and right brained, she marries a deep passion for art and design with process and execution. Her childhood was spent immersed in the creative arts and developed further in college through a degree in the History of Art and Architecture at Brown University. A never-ending curiosity has allowed her to learn empirically about construction, furniture design, restoration, and textiles.  She hopes to share this passion with her clients throughout the design process through active collaboration, discovery, and a truly bespoke experience.

Gabriela’s approach is rooted in emotion and the ethos that good design can make things better. With each project, she aims to create spaces that elicit a feeling, enhance daily life and will grow with its inhabitants. Shying away from creating a momentary sense of perfection, Gabriela focuses on creating a place that is authentic, collected and inspirational. 

Finding deep joy in the process of discovery, invention, and education, Gabriela’s projects are founded both on the close relationships she forges with her clients, as well as her enduring  curiosity for all aspects of design. With each project she combines an in-depth understanding of her clients and their needs, with her rigorous research into everything from unknown textile designers, to innovative fabrication techniques and vintage furniture makers that have yet to be popularized, bringing to life spaces that are not only purposeful and expressive, but also highly connected to the client. Most of all, Gabriela follows the belief that integrity, kindness and intention is key to creating spaces that are beautiful and inspiring for the inhabitants.
